This was a Brno weekend, so that meant back on the road. I always look forward to being there with the brethren with whom we have such a long and dear history. Waiting on the tram caused me to reflect on how much difference the time change made here. It was basically dark by the time I got to the meeting place. As the pics suggest, it is cold and rainy here with the inside temps being a bit below pleasant. On the tram, I noticed a sign advertising for part-time students to be tram drivers. Does that strike anyone else as a bad idea? Fall was made more pleasant by the amazing juiced apples Joseph brought. The taste is amazing. We had a good and positive assembly that went long because of the good conversation the lesson created. There was some discussion and fervent prayer for the lecture on Monday. As I spent time in a coffee shop Monday afternoon prayerfully pouring over my notes, I wondered who would come for the lecture. When I arrived at the amazing, historic venue the church secured, any doubts were answered. There were already more than a dozen visitors I had never seen before. That number topped 20 before the night was over with another 15 watching the entire live stream. The post lecture response was positive to the point of being embarrassing. We left thankful and optimistic about the Part 2 of the lecture next month.
