The trip to Sofia was uneventful. Joe met me at the airport and we took the metro into the city. The flat is very well located and has a nice view of a mosque turned into a church in the post-Turkish period. Unfortunately, there are small problems with the heating and plumbing….
After dropping my bags, we grabbed a quick bite of supper before heading to see Biss. He was in good spirits as he awaits he next doctor’s appointment later this week.
